Risks Statement

By using the Decentralised Platform, its Website or any Program related to it, the User is aware and admits that blockchain technology and crypto-assets are very fragile and carry significant risks including the volatility of the value and the possibility of loss in value of the crypto-assets. The User admits that such risks come from the novelty of the technology itself, the uncertainty of the regulatory worldwide, the possibility of hacking, high in volatility and the information that is asymmetry characterising the crypto market. Therefore, the User is recommended to purchase any crypto-assets with funds that they afford to lose. Nonetheless, as the Decentralised Platform and its Platform is not an advisor, the User is strongly encouraged to seek financial and legal advice from any advisors regarding the use of crypto-assets and the use of our services.

The details as below:

The Users may choose to participate in one or more IDOs and/or Public Rounds on Huostarter at their sole discretion. In making this decision, the Users must consider all risks associated with cryptographic digital tokens, including regulatory and cybersecurity risks. While the Users may rely on information published on the Website or any communication channels of Huostarter, the Users must to some extent acknowledge that the content on the Website or any communication channels of Huostarter does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. Therefore, the Users cannot treat any of the content on the Website or any communication channels of Huostarter as such.

The Users are fully responsible for assessing the benefits and risks associated with using any information or content on the Website or any communication channels of Huostarter before making any decisions based on that information. The Users also acknowledge the high volatility of the crypto market and should be aware that there is a real possibility of losing all funds invested in the crypto market. Therefore, the Users should avoid using funds that they cannot afford to lose when purchasing IDO tokens.

The Users expressly agree that they are purchasing and receiving IDO Tokens at their sole risk and that the Website and IDO Tokens are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.

The Users understand and agree that the purchase and any other acquisition of IDO Tokens carry significant risks. Therefore, the purchase of IDO Tokens should be undertaken only by Users experienced with cryptographic tokens and blockchain-based software with a functional understanding of storage and transmission mechanisms associated with other cryptographic tokens.

The Users understand and acknowledge that Huostarter has no supervision, direction, or control over any of the Projects. Huostarter does not guarantee the honesty, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided by the Project(s) to the Users through the Website. Therefore, the Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence on the Project(s) before purchasing IDO Tokens when participating in an IDO.

When purchasing IDO Tokens, Participants acknowledge and accept the risks involved. They confirm their understanding that IDOs do not involve the issuance of securities, whether registered or unregistered, or any other investment certificates. IDO Tokens are cryptographic tokens existing on one or multiple blockchains, intended solely for accessing and interacting with digital services and applications provided by the associated Project.

The purchase of IDO Tokens is not considered an investment or a collective investment scheme, and Users should not expect any repayment, refund, return, or profit from participating in an IDO or Public Round. IDO Tokens do not have any inherent financial return, redemption option, or backing by any underlying asset, security, or repurchase commitment. They may not have liquidity or market value and do not represent an investment contract.

Once Users purchase IDO Tokens, the payment made will be considered non-refundable. Therefore, Users are advised to carefully consider all risk factors, including but not limited to the volatility of cryptocurrency prices and markets, risks of systemic failure, code failure, bugs, hardware failure, loss of data, theft, lost usernames, passwords, or private keys, incorrectly executed transactions, and hacks. These risks can result in the complete loss of the IDO Tokens.

The field of digital cryptography is relatively new, and as such, there is a risk of unforeseen attacks on various or all parts of the Huostarter digital ecosystem. In the event of such an attack or hack, Users may lose their HTE Tokens, IDO Tokens, and stablecoins. Users understand the inherent risks associated with blockchain technology and crypto-assets, including, but not limited to, those listed below:

  1. Risks related to the loss of a private key: Users acknowledge and agree that access to IDO Tokens requires the use of a digital wallet. Users understand and accept that if their private key or password is lost or stolen, the IDO Tokens associated with their digital wallet will be irrecoverable and permanently lost.

  2. Regulatory risks: Users acknowledge and accept the possibility that certain jurisdictions may enforce existing regulations or introduce new regulations regarding blockchain technology-based applications. These regulations may conflict with the current setup of the Huostarter digital ecosystem and could lead to significant modifications, including the termination of the ecosystem and the loss of IDO Tokens. Every user is bound to follow their country’s regulations regarding crypto/digital assets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the United States, and any other country where users are residents.

  3. IT Risks: Users understand and acknowledge that the Huostarter digital ecosystem, including smart contracts, the Website, and blockchain protocols (such as Ethereum Smart-Contract Protocol), are in early stages and have not undergone comprehensive testing. Users accept that there is no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free delivery of IDO Tokens or smart contracts. Users acknowledge the inherent risk of software containing weaknesses, vulnerabilities, or bugs that could lead to the complete loss of HTE Tokens, IDO Tokens, or stablecoins. Users also understand and accept that smart contracts, underlying protocols, or other software may cause delays or failures in the delivery of IDO Tokens.

  4. The User understands and acknowledges the risks related to the abandonment or lack of success of the Project(s): The development of the Project(s) may be discontinued for various reasons, including but not limited to lack of funding, lack of public interest, lack of commercial success, or competition from other projects. The User acknowledges that there is no guarantee that even if the Project(s) is fully or partially developed and launched, the User will receive any benefits from the IDO Tokens held by them.

  5. Depreciation risks: Users understand and accept that no market liquidity is guaranteed for IDO Tokens and that their value may experience extreme volatility or depreciate entirely over time.

  6. The User acknowledges and understands the risk of theft or hacks, recognizing that the smart contracts, the Website, the underlying software application, and the software platform (such as the Ethereum blockchain) could be targeted by cybercriminals. This could potentially result in the loss or theft of HTE Tokens, IDO Tokens, and/or stablecoins.

  7. The Users understand that HTE tokens do not represent securities for the Huostarter project; rather, they are native tokens issued by the Hepton Blockchain network for on-chain fueled utility. Huostarter uses the token as the sole governance in the Huostarter platform to enable users to interact with decentralised services offered on the platform.

The Users acknowledge that they have understood all the risks discussed above and acknowledge that they use Huostarter at their own risk. The Users understand and agree that Huostarter will not be responsible for any harm or loss suffered by the Users as a result of any of the risks stated above. The Users release Huostarter from any obligation for any damages and/or losses that may arise, whether directly or indirectly, from their use of the Huostarter decentralised ecosystem.
