Last Updated: 3rd February 2024 - Huostarter Legal Team
1. General Acknowledgment of Risk By participating in any fundraising activities, including but not limited to Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs) or token staking programs facilitated through Huostarter, users acknowledge and accept that blockchain-based investments carry significant financial, regulatory, and technological risks. Huostarter provides a platform for blockchain startups but does not guarantee the performance, security, or regulatory compliance of any listed project.
2. Market and Financial Risks Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile, and the value of digital assets may fluctuate significantly due to factors such as market demand, regulatory changes, technological developments, or broader economic conditions. There is no guarantee of profit or return on investment, and participants should be prepared for the possibility of losing part or all of their invested capital.
3. Project-Specific Risks Investing in early-stage blockchain projects involves inherent risks, including but not limited to project delays, abandonment, unforeseen technical issues, or modifications to the token’s utility or governance structure. Huostarter does not endorse or verify the accuracy of project claims and strongly advises users to conduct independent research before making investment decisions.
4. Regulatory and Legal Risks The regulatory landscape for blockchain and cryptocurrency is evolving and may vary across jurisdictions. Participation in token sales or staking activities may be subject to legal restrictions or obligations in certain regions. It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations before engaging in any activities on the Huostarter platform. Huostarter does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice.
5. Security and Smart Contract Risks While Huostarter makes reasonable efforts to evaluate the security of smart contracts used by projects, there remains a risk of technical vulnerabilities, exploits, or hacking incidents that may result in the loss of funds. Users assume full responsibility for assessing and mitigating these risks when interacting with smart contracts or third-party services.
6. No Guarantees or Warranties Huostarter does not make any representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the legitimacy, financial viability, or future success of any project listed on the platform. Participation is entirely at the user’s discretion and risk.
7. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Huostarter, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with any use of the platform, participation in IDOs, staking activities, or reliance on project information.
8. User Responsibility By engaging with Huostarter, users acknowledge that they have conducted their own due diligence (DYOR) and fully understand the risks involved. Users should consult professional advisors regarding legal, financial, or tax implications before participating in any blockchain-related investment.
